Mission

At the intersection of public policy and emerging technologies, CALInnovates.org champions the conversation about the future of California’s critical technology sector.  Bringing together industry experts, thought leaders, tech innovators, policymakers and consumers, CALInnovates.org’s non-partisan mission is to promote innovation, create new jobs, spur investment and support tech-friendly policies.

Principles

• CALInnovates.org provides policy makers and consumers a forum for discussing cutting edge technology issues;
• CALInnovates.org is a voice in the development of public policy;
• CALInnovates.org provides an online resource to articulate the issues facing the technology industry;
• CALInnovates.org is a resource to showcase California’s innovation economy;
• CALInnovates.org develops membership into grassroots organization, looking to new media and social networking, to mobilize on local and state legislative issues;
• CALInnovates.org is an online resource to evaluate legislators’ approaches and records on technology related issues; and,
• CALInnovates.org sponsors events where the membership can come together to discuss the issues facing California’s technology sector and work to see it flourish.
